SYSTRA has developed and refined a comprehensive, documented, and repeatable systems engineering methodology that is consistent with the international standard ISO/IEC 15288:2002(E), Systems Engineering – System Life Cycle Processes, latest industry standard IEEE Std 1220-2005, IEEE Standard for Application and Management of the Systems Engineering Process, and International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) recommended practices.
We comply with the latest U.S. and international standards and best practices that encompass concept of operations (ConOps), requirements engineering, systems integration and interface management, system assurance (reliability, availability, maintainability), safety system safety certification, independent safety assessor verification, validation testing and commissioning, and human factors.
When developing a system, SYSTRA grasps first an understanding of our client’s needs then defines the system requirements to meet those needs. Our process requires working with each stakeholder closely to define and refine the system’s functionality and boundaries early in the acquisition cycle. SYSTRA’s process involves analyzing and reviewing the effects of operational characteristics, environmental factors, and minimum acceptable functionality, and developing a concept that meets those needs while considering cost and schedule.
