About Us

SYSTRA is a specialist in planning, engineering, design, program management, and construction management for transportation systems and their associated facilities. With approximately 5,400 employees, SYSTRA benefits from more than 50 years of international and 30 years of North American experience.

Many of our professionals have earned their knowledge as employees of operating railroads, where minimizing operational impacts is the highest priority. SYSTRA’s planners, designers, and engineers truly grasp rail transit and bus system operations thus we are apt to establish and shape systems that meet operational needs while having the long-term reliability and maintainability necessary for optimal system performance.
